Engineering Services & Construction Inspection Fees
On January 9,2019, the League City, City Council gave final approval of Ordinance 2018-46 (Engineering Services and Construction Inspection Fees) with an effective date of March 1, 2019.
This Ordinance requires Developers of all new public infrastructure improvements to pay an inspection fee calculated as 2.50% of the cost to construct public improvements. The inspection fee would be determined and collected at the time of approval of public infrastructure plans.
Developments that have submitted a Preliminary Plat prior to March 1, 2019, and have submitted infrastructure improvement plans by June 1, 2019, will fall under the requirements of Ordinance 2016-13 (fees calculated at 2% of value of public improvements).
Roadway Capital Recovery Fees
On January 9, 2019, the League City, City Council approved Ordinance 2019-01 (Roadway Capital Recovery Fees) with an effective date of March 1, 2019.
These fees will be used to assist in the funding of critical roadway projects needed to accommodate future growth, while maintaining the character and quality of life envisioned by city residents in the Comprehensive Plan.
Developments that have submitted a Preliminary Plat prior to March 1, 2019, have submitted infrastructure improvement plans by May 1, 2019 and the infrastructure plans have been accepted by Staff before October 1, 2019, shall not be required to pay the Roadway Capital Recovery Fee.
