The League City Animal Shelter will be hosting a regional a “Paws and Claus Adoption Event” on December 8 and 9 at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. Joining them will be the Galveston Island Humane Society, Bayou Animal Services, the Pasadena Animal Shelter, and Houston BARC. All adoptions will be $25, and the animal will will be ready to go home that day with shots, microchipping, and will have already been “fixed”. Santa will be there for pet photos and Animal Alliance will be providing low cost vaccinations and FREE microchips to the first 300 pets. There also will be a resale shop with lots of new and gently used pet supplies.
