League City is great place to live, work, and play. But how do we work together to ensure it stays that way? League City is seeking citizen feedback to ensure we are addressing issues and developing the right priorities based on the needs and wants of our residents.
League City residents and businesses are invited to share their thoughts at a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, June 20 at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 West Walker Street. As part of the meeting, City staff will present on overview of a proposed Strategic Action Plan developed over the past few months by Council, the Mayor, and City administrators.
The plan contains a set of proposed strategic priorities and initiatives to guide the work of City staff over the next three to five years. The priorities are based on eight success factors which were developed by the Council, City Administrators, and the Mayor. The success factors include:
- Develop and maintain the City’s infrastructure
- Financial stability
- Safe and desirable community
- Quality community amenities
- Trained, committed, and valued workforce
- Engaged residents
- Economic development and tourism
- Quality built environment
At the June 20 Town Hall meeting, citizens will be able to provide their feedback and comments regarding the proposed initiatives contained in the Strategic Action Plan. Council is expected to formally adopt the plan in July.
